WELCOME TO QUEEN CHARLOTTE ECO-CAMP CAMPING GROUND – ENDEAVOUR INLET
Set in a beautiful family orchard, Queen Charlotte Eco-Camp Camping Ground is a remote farm accessible by hiking the Queen Charlotte Track or by water taxi from Picton. We are a perfect spot to stop and unwind on day one of the three day hike along the track or even base yourself at Endeavour Inlet and explore parts of the track from the comfort of Queen Charlotte Eco-Camp Camping Ground.

We offer Yurts and Tent Sites just off the Queen Charlotte Track.






Facilities
Situated on the Queen Charlotte Track at Endeavours Inlet our access to the outside world is limited. We provide a Department of Conservation toilet and a basic kitchen facility. There is cold water only, for drinking water, and bench surfaces for camp cooking. We do not provide washing facilities for your dishes, and we cannot provide rubbish facilities or organic waste disposal. You will need to eat or carry everything out.

Walking the Queen Charlotte Track
Day 1 – Ship Cove to Endeavour Inlet (5 hours). Stay with us at Queen Charlotte Eco-Camp.
Day 2 – Queen Charlotte Eco-Camp to Punga Cove Resort or Endeavour Heights or treat yourselves to Mahana Lodge (3-3.5 hours), or Ngahere Hou for an eco treat (around 5 hours).
Day 3 – Punga Cove accommodations providers to Torea (8 hours). Tree Tops is a backpacker bed-type accommodation with self-catering. The Portage has the local restaurant and is a higher end accommodation provider.
Day 4 – Torea to Anakiwa (8 hours) or Torea to Mistletoe Bay (4 hours). Mistletoe Bay camp has budget camping and cabins or try Te Mahia.
Day 5 – Mistletoe Bay to Anakiwa (4 hours).


For Young Families
For young families another option is a 3 day walk:
Day 1 – Picton to Motuara hour for a 1 hour predator free island trip then on to Ship Cove. Ship Cove to Resolution Bay Cabins (about 2 hours).
Day 2 – Resolution Bay Cabins to Miners Farmstay (3-4 hours).
Day 3 – Miners Farmstay to Punga Cove (3-4 hours). There is a great café there where you can get hot chocolate, fries, ice creams and pizza.
